Daniel is an experienced construction and infrastructure professional with extensive international experience delivering complex major projects across the UAE, Australia, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Fiji and the wider Pacific region. His career spans client-side, consultancy and Tier 1 contractor environments, giving him a well-rounded perspective across the full project lifecycle.

As Director of Infrastructure at Matthews, Daniel brings extensive expertise in the development, design, procurement and delivery of large-scale infrastructure programmes. His experience encompasses roads and transport infrastructure, bridges, tunnels, utilities, marine developments and major civil works, with a strong focus on programme leadership, stakeholder management, governance and successful project delivery.

Prior to joining Matthews, Daniel held senior leadership positions with Hill International, JWDA Group Consultancy and McConnell Dowell. Most recently, he provided leadership and governance for a portfolio of major capital works on behalf of Abu Dhabi’s Department of Municipalities and Transport, overseeing multidisciplinary teams and the delivery of critical infrastructure across the Emirate.
