His career includes serving as Managing and Operating Partner with ARC Realty, Entrepreneur in Residence with Timberline Holdings, and Executive Director of Jones Valley Teaching Farm, a nationally recognized nonprofit focused on food education and access for K–12 students and families.

Notable achievements include his early-career work in Uganda helping launch Akola, a social enterprise empowering women entrepreneurs, demonstrating his commitment to purpose-driven development.

Grant holds a Bachelor of Arts from Furman University and a Master's degree from North Carolina State University. He also completed a graduate program in social entrepreneurship at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, reinforcing his expertise at the intersection of real estate and social impact.
