Jenni is a Senior Project Manager at Matthews, bringing 15 years of municipal engineering and project management expertise to the firm. Her exceptional ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups has been instrumental in successful project permitting and delivery throughout her career.
Jenni's comprehensive background spans both local government and consulting engineering companies, providing her with unique insights that enable seamless perspective-switching when engaging with industry professionals, government regulators, contractors, and community groups. She excels at leading multi-disciplinary teams toward common goals while navigating complex permitting challenges, constrained construction schedules, and risk management.
Currently, Jenni is managing construction of the Cheekeye River Debris Flow Barrier in Squamish, BC, a $130M compacted concrete structure that will be the largest of its type in North America upon completion. This landmark project represents the culmination of a decade-long design and permitting process and stands as the highlight of her distinguished career.
Jenni graduated from Dalhousie University in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer in British Columbia. Her commitment to excellence and innovation continues to drive successful outcomes for Matthews' most complex infrastructure projects.
Outside of work, Jenni enjoys traveling and exploring the mountains with her family, most often with skis on their feet.
