Since entering the industry, Kirpal has developed comprehensive experience in both pre and post-contract phases, working across diverse construction markets in the UK and the Middle East.

Specializing initially in infrastructure within the aviation sector, Kirpal has successfully expanded her expertise to include projects throughout Saudi Arabia and Dubai, with particular focus on commercial hospitality developments.

In her current role at Matthews, Kirpal manages the commercial aspects of post-contract projects throughout the construction stage, coordinating with enabling works and main works contractors to ensure delivery within budget. Her responsibilities include variation assessments, commercial team management, monthly payment processing for contractors and consultants, and comprehensive budgeting and forecasting. Through meticulous change management processes, Kirpal maintains a project’s financial integrity while tracking commercial outcomes.

A career highlight includes her involvement in Dubai's first aerial taxi project, exemplifying Matthews’ engagement with cutting-edge, transformative developments. Kirpal holds a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management from Oxford Brookes University and is currently pursuing RICS chartership as a member of the institution. She is fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi.
