A well-respected and highly skilled journalist, Lucy’s 25-year career began as a news and features writer at two award-winning UK newspapers before being headhunted by the UAE’s leading publisher to become the Fashion & Beauty Editor of Dubai’s best-selling weekly magazine.

An editor and consultant who has worked on some of the most prestigious fashion, interiors, celebrity and lifestyle titles in the Middle East, Lucy continued her media journey by joining Matthews as PR & Marketing Manager in 2021, focusing her multi-layered skillset on highlighting Matthews’ exceptional development and consultancy work in the EMEA region and the talented team that deliver it.

Responsible for shaping and maintaining Matthews’ public image through strategic communication that aligns with our business goals, managing stakeholder and media relations and organizing events, Lucy oversees all Public Relations opportunities for Matthews. Highlighting and elevating the Matthews profile by creating engaging content across multi-media platforms, organizing corporate events and building brand relations within the industry thus generating positive press coverage, her role links inextricably to facilitating new business development. Creative, charismatic and adaptable with excellent communication skills and an extensive media network, Lucy works alongside senior members of the Matthews team on key initiatives across all areas of the business.
