Luke is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with more than 20 years’ international experience across the real estate and construction sectors. His experience spans luxury hospitality, branded residences, mixed-use and major development projects across the Middle East, Europe, Africa, the Caribbean and Asia-Pacific, with a career portfolio exceeding US$1.5 billion in project value.

As Commercial Director at Matthews, Luke brings a strong combination of owner-side, consultancy and contracting experience. His expertise encompasses development feasibility and investment appraisal, commercial strategy and governance, procurement, contract negotiation, cost and risk management, and project delivery from early-stage feasibility through to handover.

Prior to joining Matthews, Luke held senior commercial leadership positions in the UAE, including Commercial Director and Board Member at West One Contracting and Commercial Director – Design & Technical Services at Kerzner International. During his career, he has supported the international growth and delivery of leading hospitality brands including Atlantis, One&Only, SIRO and Rare Finds, overseeing commercial and development activities across a portfolio of luxury hospitality and branded residential projects.
