Mark Schumann is Head of Specialist Services at Matthews, bringing over 21 years of experience in the construction industry, including 15 years at Partner level with international consultancies and through his own ventures. Throughout his career, Mark has collaborated with many of the world’s leading architects and engineers, establishing himself as a trusted advisor at both project and Board level across Specification Consultancy and Design Management.

In his current role, Mark oversees Matthews’ UK business and its specialist services offering. His expertise spans global specifications, design management, business management and the coordination of multidisciplinary design teams, with successful project delivery across the UK, Europe, the USA, South Africa, Egypt, the Middle East, China, Hong Kong and Malaysia. His sector experience is equally broad, covering commercial offices, retail, hospitality, residential, infrastructure, education, healthcare, and sport and leisure across four continents.

Mark holds a BSc (Hons) in Project Management, supporting his practical and commercially focused approach to project delivery. He is committed to maintaining high standards of quality, integrity and collaboration across Matthews’ specialist services.
