Navid serves as Vice President of Program Management, Engineering, and Construction at Matthews, bringing over 17 years of distinguished construction experience to his role. Since entering the industry in 2008, Navid has established himself as a leader in managing complex, large-scale projects across North America, with more than a decade in senior leadership positions overseeing multi-billion-dollar infrastructure and transportation developments.
Currently, Navid leads program management teams at Inspire Dallas, where he oversees the new KBHCCD project. His comprehensive expertise encompasses all aspects of project execution, including scope management, budget control, scheduling, quality assurance, procurement, and risk mitigation. He excels at fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders, agencies, and project teams while managing various contract types and delivery methods throughout both preconstruction and construction phases.
Throughout his career, Navid has contributed to the success of multiple major projects, including convention centers, light-rail transit systems, bridges, tunnels, and dams. As an owner's representative, he skillfully manages teams of subcontractors, consultants, and technical experts while ensuring all construction activities align with design specifications, timelines, and quality expectations.
Navid holds a master's degree in construction management from Concordia University and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Tehran. He maintains his Leadership in Safety Excellence (LSE) certification and is fluent in English, French, and Persian. Outside of work, Navid enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and reading.
