Nic Shewan is a Design Manager at Matthews, bringing over nine years of experience in architectural design gained at leading London practices. Since entering the industry in 2016, Nic has delivered complex projects across the commercial, residential, and infrastructure sectors, working across all RIBA work stages, with particular expertise in delivering commercial office developments, to Cat A fit-out, for both new-build and refurbishment projects.

Nic combines technical excellence with a commercially astute approach, consistently contributing to high-quality, viable design solutions within fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments.

Nic is recognised for his adaptable, solutions-driven approach, with the ability to integrate quickly into complex project environments and drive collaboration, clear communication, and coordinated project delivery.  This is reflected in his notable project experience which includes No.1 Palace Street, Space House, 135 Park Street, 65 Gresham, Holland Park Gate, The Broadway (London), Ras El Hekma Phase 1A (Wadi Yemm) and Jeddah Metro.

He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Architecture Professional Practice (RIBA Part 3) from the University of Westminster, a Professional Diploma in Designing Architecture (RIBA Part 2) from the London School of Architecture, and a Bachelor of Architectural Studies from the University of Cape Town.
