As a Senior Vice President, Phill focuses on corporate strategy and development projects across the divisions of Matthews.

Prior to Matthews, Phill spent over 10 years as a shareholder with Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. in Dallas, Texas as the leader of their public-private partnerships practice and complex redevelopment projects teams. Phill has a broad base of experience working as counsel to developers, investors, and lenders on joint venture and other investment structures, debt financing, economic incentives, public-private partnerships, affordable housing, development and construction, tax matters, as well as general corporate and real estate issues. He represented Matthews in connection with the redevelopment of the Old Dallas High School, the Broward County Convention Center expansion and hotel project, the U.S. Air Force hotel project, High Speed Rail, Dallas Convention Center expansion project, as well as developments within The Tribute and The Cedars.
