Sylvie is a commercial lawyer by training and has spent over 30 years redeveloping the Canadian commercial real estate landscape. A career starting at Provigo, led her to an instrumental role as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at First Capital Realty, Canada’s largest neighborhood shopping center developer and operator.

Until 2017, as the Executive Vice President of Real Estate & Development for Sobeys, Sylvie was responsible for the formulation and implementation of Sobeys' national real estate strategy. Sylvie sits on the boards of SmartCentres REIT and BTB REIT and is a member of SmartCentres REIT audit committee and of BTB REIT’s investment and audit committees.
