Matthews Canada, in partnership with The Remer Group, is leading the redevelopment and revitalization of 300 Berge Du Canal - a transformative 82.5-acre industrial project in Lachine, Montreal, strategically positioned along Highway 20 adjacent to the city's highest density residential area.

The site's complexity required over four years of planning and approvals before development could begin. Where other developers saw obstacles, Matthews saw opportunity in this rare and strategically located site with immense potential for modern industrial use.

With over 1.5 million sq ft of buildable area, Matthews is transforming former industrial land into a modern, high-performance logistics and distribution hub. The property's proximity to multiple major highways and Montréal-Trudeau International Airport, combined with unparalleled access to labor and key markets, positions it as a seamlessly connected industrial and logistics hub near Montreal's core.

Delivered in phases from 2026 to 2027, the project will revitalize the site, create jobs, and offer unmatched logistical access to downtown Montreal - setting a precedent for responsible urban industrial renewal while strengthening the local economy.
