In 2013, Matthews Canada acquired 32 acres of industrial land strategically located at Mayfield Road and Dixie Road in Caledon, Ontario, marking the beginning of Matthews' presence in the region and a community relationship that remains strong today.
Matthews managed the land acquisition and development of a 535,000 sq ft distribution centre for Acklands-Grainger, delivering a purpose-built facility that serves the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions. The project established Matthews in one of Canada's most important industrial corridors and laid the groundwork for what would become the broader CORE Industrial development.
