Matthews Canada, in partnership with H&R REIT, developed a 330,000 sq ft, two-building infill industrial project on a 15.5-acre site in Mississauga, Ontario. The location was ideal for access to the highway and targeted for industrial use, positioned just meters from Highways 401 and 407 and only 18 kilometers from Toronto Pearson International Airport.
Matthews played a key role in securing and acquiring the land and served as master planner, developer and project manager, overseeing the construction and delivery of the industrial buildings, which were completed in the fall of 2024. Matthews also secured tenants and leases for the project. The project supports economic growth by attracting businesses, creating jobs, and generating an expanded tax base that can support local services and infrastructure.
