Matthews is advancing a major employment development on Heart Lake Road in the Town of Caledon, serving as Master Planner, Developer and Project Manager.

The site sits at the northern edge of one of the GTA's most active industrial corridors, minutes from Highway 410 and immediately west of the approved Highway 410 extension and Highway 413.

Spanning roughly 125 acres, the project will deliver approximately 1.7 million sq ft of new industrial space across four buildings designed for warehousing, distribution and logistics, supporting an estimated 1,200 jobs. Its highway access, established industrial setting and deep regional workforce make it a highly competitive location for businesses seeking efficient, well-connected space in the Greater Toronto Area.

Matthews is working with the community, Town and Regional staff, and key stakeholders to advance the Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment applications needed to bring the lands into the urban boundary for industrial use, while protecting the Greenbelt and natural heritage features along the site's northern edge.
